Concours d’Elegance

CORSA members registered for the convention are eligible to participate

The CORSA Concours welcomes ALL Corvairs to be displayed and judged. There are classes for stock, modified, and engineering specials, but all must be either Corvair powered or bodied. Vehicles must be registered to participate by Noon on the day before the show. The event judging is based on cleanliness and condition, with scoring based on a 10,000-pt. scale in 7 different units including Operation of the Vehicle. Participants attend meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday morning prior to the start of judging.  All vehicles must go through an Operations evaluation and classification on Tuesday where event materials including an entry identification card will be provided.

The Concours is a great way to learn about your vehicle and to be judged by peers who own Corvairs. CORSA trains judges to ensure consistency between conventions. It is run by a national Concours chairman and committee. Awards are given based on scores against a scale broken out by bronze, silver and gold levels. Cars achieving over 96% are elevated to Senior level. Cars classified as Factory Stock or Factory Stock restored are eligible for special recognition. Concours Rules and scoring sheets can be found on the CORSA Website.

Vehicles receiving the top 10 votes will receive their award at the end of the car show in the lot.
